Zhao Yide Attends the 5th Conference for Outstanding Builders, Emphasizing the Promotion of Sustainable, Sound and High-Quality Development of the Non-Public Sector

The 5th Shaanxi Provincial Conference Commending Outstanding Builders of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics Among Non-Public Economic Figures was held in Xi'an on December 30.Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and addressed the conference.

The conference was presided over by Zhao Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Shaanxi Province. Li Mingyuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, read out the commendation decision. Representatives of the outstanding builders delivered speeches and read out an initiative proposal.

Zhao Yide extended congratulations to the commended outstanding builders and sent sincere greetings to all non-public economic figures across the province. He pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has delivered a series of important speeches on promoting the "Two Healths", profoundly clarifying a range of directional and fundamental issues, and providing fundamental guidance for advancing the high-quality development of the non-public economy. In recent years, non-public economic figures across the province have kept General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions firmly in mind, remained true to their original aspiration, strived to enhance their internal strengths, braved the forefront, dared to explore and innovate, playing a vital role in stabilizing growth, promoting innovation, increasing employment and improving people’s well-being, and making significant contributions to forging a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Shaanxi.

Looking ahead to the new journey of striving towards the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Zhao Yide expressed hope that the vast number of non-public economic figures will vigorously promote entrepreneurship and the spirit of outstanding builders, stick to their core businesses and strengthen the real economy. They should shoulder the responsibilities of the times with patriotism, break new ground in development with a pioneering spirit, safeguard fairness and justice with integrity, and promote common prosperity with benevolence, demonstrating new responsibilities and achievements in high-quality development and modernization drive. Party committees and governments at all levels should take deepening the "Three Year" activities and striving to win the "Eight Critical Battles" as the starting point, earnestly implement policies and measures to boost the development of the private economy, and continuously foster a sound political environment, talent environment, business environment and public opinion environment.

Zhao Gang stressed the need to further improve policies and measures, continuously optimize the business environment, focus on building a cordial and clean government-business relationship, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of private enterprises in accordance with the law. This will enable entrepreneurs to invest with confidence, operate without worry and develop freely, continuously enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, and make new and greater contributions to Shaanxi’s high-quality development.
